I have always suffered from Rosacea (facial redness), especially in the areas around the nose and cheeks. After just a couple of sessions of Rosacea IPL Treatments at the Pulse Light Clinic, I saw a hudge reduction in redness and improvement in my general skin appearence. I am greatly looking forward to seeing the results after a full course of treatment! I would highly recomend Rosacea treatment at Pulse Light Clinic, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the facilities lovely and central.
I had a moderate amount of broken veins and rosacea which was getting worse as I got older, so sought help from the Pulse Light Clinic. Sheila Maclean recommended a course of IPL laser treatment on the affected areas, particularly around my nose and cheeks, and after 8 sessions, the redness and broken veins were almost all gone. Now I have an even complexion. The treatment was quick and although quite uncomfortable to begin with, eased off in intensity with each session. The staff at the clinic were knowledgeable and friendly and committed to help their clients with skin problems. My therapist also recommended use of an organic Papaya Ointment available on line (that was nothing to do with her clinic or treatments) which successfully treated a patch of mild contact dermatitis too!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rosacea treatment, or the Pulse Light Clinic.
Thanks A.C
My ugly vein on my nose has completely gone after just one Rosacea treatment. It’s a miracle!! Sheila give me a list of vitamins which helped me to improve collagen generation.
Thanks

In general with the laser and changes in diet I am seeing improvements. I think the background redness is less severe than it was and my flushing has been much reduced. The only time I have I have experienced any mild flushing is due to hot temperatures, ie after playing sport or going from cold to hot rooms. However these are mild in comparison to what they used to be so this is a vast improvement.
Before I started having treatment here my face was so red and hot all the time it not only drove me mad but I was quite shy around people because of it. But since having Rosacea treatment the redness has gone down tremendously and I’ve gained a lot more on that confidence I had lost, I’m so happy I started this treatment as its doing wonders for me.
Thanks

I’ve just finished a course of IPL treatments and am really delighted with the results. I didn’t have Rosacea, but I had a patch of broken veins and redness on one cheek, and as I’m now in my fifties, wearing cover-up make up looked so ageing. Now they have completely gone, I’m so pleased, I don’t have to wear any make up at all. It’s great as I keep getting compliments about my complexion so I’m a very happy woman!

When I was 18 years old I gave birth to my daughter and during the labour I was given epidural anesthetic. As a result of this anesthetic I was unable to feel anything which included where to push when the baby was ready to be born. The nurse told me to push and as I could not feel anything I pushed mostly with my face. This resulted in bursting blood vessels in my face with the effort. The marks left behind were unsightly and purple veins were all over both sides of my face from the eyes all the way down to my chin and across from the ears to the nose on both sides. It was most unattractive and as the years rolled by it seemed to become more and more prominent.
I was always embarrassed by the redness and veiny look to my cheeks and thought often that people may see only the “scars” and not me at all.
I used lots of make up, heavy foundation, powders etc to hide the redness but it always seemed to show. I would get very upset if anyone saw me without make up. I actually felt quite ugly most of the time.
Friendly staff and helpful advice, started Rosacea Treatment last summer at the clinic on a course of 6 to get my Rosacea under control seen a good improvement already .
Thanks

After calling around various IPL clinics (most of which were more cosmetic focused and not fully in tune with the needs of rosacea patients), I came across the Pulse Light Clinic in London. Before making my decision I created a long list of questions to ask the clinic’s owner, Sheila MacLean. I wanted to know her background, the clinic’s history, how the treatment works and what I results I should be expecting.

Having had many IPL treatments for Rosacea in the last couple of years, I found the service and treatment provided by the Pulse Light Clinic to be exemplary. I would recommend this clinic and their Rosacea tretment regime to anyone.
Thanks!
