My skin was dreadful having suffered the effects of rosacea for over 10 years and I had given up hope of ever finding a solution. Then last summer I came across the Pulse Light Clinic by chance on the internet. From the moment I walked through the door of the clinic, the warm, kind and understanding welcome I received from Sheila and Josi put any nerves I had completely at rest. Six sessions of IPL later, in the wonderful skilled hands of Sheila, and my skin is amazing. "For all my adult life I’ve had to cover up all the patches of red thread veins on my face, and it made me so self-conscious. In the following days these were gone, leaving a wonderful nothing underneath. Over the 6 treatments this happened again and again, each time evening the look of the skin.

GP came to the clinic having suffered from Rosacea

"The first signs of rosacea starting to become noticeable in my early 40's and only required a little concealer to hide the broken capillaries.

However, as I matured I found that I could not leave the house without concealer, even if I was going for a run.  I went to my GP who prescribed a topical steroid cream (I refused to take a massive dose of antibiotics) and told me to avoid red wine and spicy foods. 

This treatment had little effect on my rosacea.  Thankfully when I contacted my GP to discuss what else we could, he told me one of his female colleagues was recommending her patients to the Pulse Light Clinic.

I was a little apprehensive of using IPL, but after the initial consultation with Sheila MacLean I was eager to get started.  I saw immediate results after my first treatment.
