BBL is the latest in Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology, with more wavelengths in the device than any other currently on the market. The variety of wavelengths allows us to treat most skin types with a multitude of depths for the fastest and most accurate treatment for the surface of the skin. Not only will the skin tone improve, BBL will also help to reduce the appearance of pores, remove thread veins and kill bacteria. Utilising SkinTyte infrared technology, your practitioner will also deeply heat the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production in both the epidermis and dermis.

Halo

The latest in fractional resurfacing lasers from Sciton, the Halo Hybrid laser combines ablative and non ablative lasers in the same machine to achieve the best results on acne scarring. Improving skin tone, texture, redness and pigmentation. The Halo allows our specialists to tailor each shot to your skin’s needs. Creating the desired effect on the different types of scarring you may have with a multi depth approach. The non ablative 1470nm laser is absorbed into the dermis creating microscopic columns of wounded tissue in order to trigger your body into wound healing action! The increase in collagen improves thickness and density in your skin and promotes pore reduction. Simultaneously, during your treatment, the ablative 2940nm Er:Yag hits the epidermal surface, vaporising the water in the skin and creating channels, leaving healthy tissue behind to improve the superficial tone and texture of your skin.

Morpheus 8

For fast remodelling of your acne scarring and any textural irregularities, Morpheus 8 will combine Microneedling and RadioFrequency (RF) together for a synchronised skin treatment.
This fractionated treatment allows RF to reach deeper depths than ever before, allowing the heat to travel along the insulated needles, for subdermal bulk heating, reaching an astonishing 4mm into the skin. These subdermal microlesions caused by the needles target the indented acne scars to begin collagenesis (production of new collagen) and restructuring of the underlying skin. The treatment will be tailored to your depth of scarring, with our needles reaching the appropriate 1-4 mm into the dermis. This combined technology works by stimulating mass collagen and elastin in order to put the bounce back in your skin!

Subcision & Radiesse with Dr Matin

Unfortunately, some scars can be tethered down from the initial healing process following your acne. Where other lasers and machines are unable to remove this, a perfect solution is subcision. This minor surgical procedure is where Dr Matin inserts a cannula (blunt needle), at an angle under the skin, moving side to side to break the fibrotic strands that are keeping the acne scar depressed. The results are instant and will continue to improve. Radiesse is a longer term filler (typically 24 months), which will be added to the depressed acne marks. It provides a buffer to stop the reattachment of fibrotic strands, gives you an instant result, and if that’s not enough, also stimulates your own natural collagen production!
