Our Package Includes:

• Live Acne / LaseMD (3 Sessions): At Pulse Light Clinic we use LaseMD on live acne to reduce inflammation and create a healing effect. LaseMD is a non ablative Thulium laser, used to create microscopic holes in the skin, delivering high grade ingredients to where it’s needed.

Preparation for Treatment:

To prepare for any of our acne treatments, we advise avoiding harsh or peeling products like Retin-A, Tretinoin, Salicylic, or Glycolic acid. It is essential to stay away from sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before and after Hydrafacial, as well as for a minimum of 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after any of our lasers. Factor 50 sunscreen should always be worn to protect the skin. You must be at your natural skin tone for treatment. Any light-sensitive medications, including some antibiotics, must be stopped. We cannot treat you if you have been or are on Roaccutane within the last 6 months.

Numbing Requirement:

No numbing is require for acne or scar reduction treatments.

Post-Treatment Experience:

After your Hydrafacial, your skin will be glowing! The treatment will unclog pores and eliminate dead skin, revealing healthy and rejuvenated skin. Laser MD may cause a burning sensation for a few hours post-treatment, along with some redness. Additional cooling will provide relief.

Depending on the strength and ablation used, the CO2 laser will leave the skin with swelling and redness for 48 hours, the redness will become brown and shed in the following 1-2 weeks you may also notice some clear or yellow liquid oozing from the skin.

Treatment Intervals:

Hydrafacial and LED light therapy can be done weekly followed by LaseMD every 2-4 weeks. Lastly, Cool Laser can be performed every 4 weeks and CO2 can be performed every 6 weeks but this is client dependent due to the ablation the Doctor uses and the healing time. 

Combining Treatments:

Hydrafacial and LED light therapy is best done alone due to potential irritation on the skin. However, we would advise intervals to get the most out of each of these fantastic treatments.

Results and Duration:

Immediate results can be seen from your Hydrafacial, while LaseMD has minimal downtime, with some clients experiencing instant effects. Cool laser may take up to 5 days to show results. All lasers stimulate collagen and elastin, continuing to improve for several months after treatment. Undertaking more sessions in a short time boosts collagen production and minimizes loss due to aging and sun damage.

Sustaining Results:

For live acne it is harder to gauge as there are many attributing factors, including the internal phenomena that can contribute to new acne forming. Food intolerance testing can aid with this.
