Medical Led Prescriptions 2020 has been a year where many of us are spending more time at home and we have seen a surge in popularity for virtual consultations for our skincare services. With the new year approaching we are hoping for more certainty and fewer lockdowns. Our skincare services are extended to prescription treatments from our in-house doctors. There is a high demand for skincare ingredients such as tretinoin, hydroquinone and Obaji Nu-Derm system.
All-in-one treatments
We have found that many people are looking to spend less on skincare with the global pandemic impacting finances. Thanks to the internet and advancements in technology means clients can do more research into the benefits of treatments and finding an all round treatment as sometimes there is more than one skin concern or condition. Our multi beneficial skin treatments include, Hydrafacial, Profound RF, DermaPen (microneedling), DermaLux LED Phototherapy, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU). A treatment trend to look out for.
Representing all skin colours
There has been many changes within the beauty and skincare industry. This year brands have been more aware of being all inclusive to people of colour. At Pulse Light Clinic we have always ensured we have the latest technology and treatments available to help people of all skin types. The laser technology we use for laser hair removal uses Alexandrite and Nd:YAG which means we can target fair to darker skin types. The laser technology we use for laser tattoo removal is the PicoWay, PicoSure and QSwitch, these machines allow us to target all skin types and almost all ink colours safely and effectively. We also have a range of skin treatments available for darker skin types and pigmentation.
