CoolSculpting helps sculpt clients’ body in certain areas. After the treatment plan clients often find their clothes fit better, look better, and feel better. The number of fat cells each individual holds is conditioned during their childhood and adolescence. That number varies little in adulthood. The number of fat cells is specific to you and varies from person to person. Senior Consultant, Lucy Dawe covers the differences between weight loss and fat reduction.
Do you lose weight when you do CoolSculpting?
They often get confused as the same thing, but fat reduction and weight loss are two very different situations. Losing weight doesn’t necessarily lead to a more sculpted appearance, on the other hand, fat reduction with CoolSculpting can allow us to change the shape and contours of your body.
What happens when weight fluctuates?
When you gain weight, those fat cells expand, which commonly results in your waist (and other areas such as your hips, and double chin, and thighs) expanding. When you have a healthy lifestyle by eating healthily and exercise regularly, those fat cells being to shrink. This starts the process of giving you a slimmer and trimmer shape. In some cases you may take a break from healthy habits, which ultimately results in these fat cells expanding again, creating unwanted bulges.
