What is Dracula Therapy?
It’s a treatment that separates blood components using a centrifuge, and it has been scientifically-proven healing or regenerative properties. These properties manifest through growth factors or proteins released in the blood components that encourage regrowth and rejuvenation in the targeted area.
At Pulse Light Clinic, we use a gold-standard centrifuge (known as Arthrex ACP) designed by Arthrex and licensed by Croma.
The centrifuge separates your blood into different components, concentrating them 2.5 times higher than in ordinary blood.
Dracula Therapy for Hair Loss.
An estimated 50% of men show symptoms of balding by age fifty. In women, Nearly 50% of women show signs of balding during their lifetime. Hair loss in women and men has been heavily linked to numerous mental disorders, from increased stress to lower self-esteem to depression.
While both genders can see hair loss as early as eighteen years, male pattern hair loss typically follows the patterns defined in the Norwood and Hamilton scales, eventually leading to the complete baldness of men. In women, however, hair loss is characterised by diffuse hair thinning, typically from the centre of the scalp, and rarely results in complete baldness.
Fortunately, Dracula Therapy (also known as vampire hair treatment) is a proven hair growth solution for male or female baldness. The treatment can help inherited (such as androgenetic alopecia) and autoimmune (such as in many cases of alopecia areata) alopecia, with studies finding an increase in hair density between 29-33% after twelve weeks of Dracula hair growth treatment.
Dracula Therapy for Skin.
Studies in the visual field have shown that men and women typically look into the eyes and faces of anyone they first meet, confirming the central role both the eyes and skin quality plays when assessing attractiveness.
Regarding Dracula therapy to the face (also called vampire facials and vampire facelifts), many studies have shown a significant increase in skin elasticity and firmness. These increases reached up to 89% four weeks after the third treatment. Sadly, skin rejuvenation results are not instantly visible and usually require at least three treatments (up to six) and at least six to eight weeks to show.
Thankfully, therapy’s beneficial effects last several months (or longer) after your last treatment, depending on your physical condition. However, these results are not permanent due to the natural ageing process. As a result, many people choose to have yearly follow-ups.
Dracula Therapy Procedure.
Dracula Therapy usually takes about thirty minutes and starts with approximately 15 ML of blood drawn from the arm.
Then, the blood-contained syringe is centrifuged for five minutes to divide the blood components.
Afterwards, Your health care professional injects the physical components at the treatment site.
The blood components release growth factors, which promote the growth and rejuvenation of the target area.
Often, you will need three to six treatments for optimal results. Typically with a one-month gap between each treatment.
Dracula Therapy FAQ's
What are the dangers of Dracula Therapy?
Like all medical procedures, there always lies a level of risk that each patient should note before undergoing the procedure. Luckily, Dracula Therapy is a natural process as it uses your blood, allowing it to be comparatively safe and well tolerated by most people.
Regardless, your choice to undergo the treatment should be based on your evaluation between the associated risk and expected benefits, which are acceptable to you.
Some of the more common complications are skin redness which typically occurs immediately after injection. In most cases, however, the redness will fade a few hours after the procedure. You may also notice some swelling in the targeted area; swelling does not persist longer than a few days in most cases.
Alongside any injection, there is a minimal chance of inflammation, pus formation, necrosis, or nerve damage. Though it is unlikely, it should be accounted for.
Is Dracula therapy for you?
Some conditions remove your eligibility for Dracula Therapy. These would include: Thrombocytopenia, any blood coagulation disorder including hypofibrinogenemia, severe anaemia, both acute or chronic infection, being under the age of 18, active cancer and finally, hemodynamic instability.
What is the aftercare like post-Dracula therapy?
Alongside your Health care professional’s advice, there are some things you should avoid for the next two to three days after your treatment. These would include: Touching the injected site, excessive exposure to sunlight, strenuous physical activity, visits to a sauna and or steam room, and finally, high-temperature environments.
What are the benefits of Arthrex for Dracula treatments?
There are many reasons to choose Croma and Arthrex ACP at Pulse Light Clinic. Some of these reasons include: gentle and short centrifugation, which prevents the damage of blood cells, optimal platelet concentration of 2.5x more than in blood, scientifically proven to give ideal results, low concentration of erythrocytes and leukocytes (red and white blood cells) and finally, Arthrex ACP does not contain any artificially added separation gels, anticoagulants or anaesthetics, making it a 100% autologous substance typically referred to as autologous PRP.
What is the downtime?
The downtime is relatively minimal. You can go back to your regular schedule right after your treatment. However, It is common for swelling in the treated area to persist for a few days.
How can help with hair transplants?
Its beneficial effects allow faster healing in the transplanted area and accelerate the growth of new hairs alongside the existing hair.
How long do results last?
Results are visible after about 6 weeks, and a further 1 or 2 treatments is recommended for full impact. The results are long-lasting, but some people choose to have maybe an annual top-up treatment after a year.
Is Dracula Therapy better than Anti-Ageing Injections?
The 2 treatments work in very different ways, with Anti-ageing injections paralysing certain muscles to achieve smooth, wrinkle-free skin (or other treatment options) and Dracula Therapy improving the texture, integrity and firmness of the skin itself. Any of the above treatments could be combined to full effect according to an individual’s particular concerns and preferences. Some people like that Dracula Therapy is autologous (i.e. a natural treatment with only their own blood being used to extract growth factors) rather than any “foreign substance”.
Does Dracula Therapy hurt?
The injections are with such a fine needle they are not uncomfortable; very similar to that felt
with injections (tiny stings). The blood test to extract the lasms is like a regular blood test;
again with a very small, fine needle.
How many sessions are needed?
The most common treatment cycles for optimal results are three to six sessions.
How much does an injection cost?
You can find our prices on our price table.
Is it effective?
Plenty of trustworthy research has shown that Dracula therapy speeds up healing, hair regrowth and skin rejuvenation.
Is it safe?
As it uses autologous conditioned plasma, it is a comparatively safe treatment, with few meaningful side effects in almost all cases.
Can it cause hair loss?
You may notice some minor hair shedding right after your treatment due to growth factors stimulating hair growth of new, healthier, thicker hair to replace the old ones.
