How many sessions will I need? 

Usually, between 8-12 sessions will get you up to 90% reduction of hair growth, this is mostly dependant on the area. For instance, legs usually require 8 sessions whereas the face requires 12 and sometimes more. 

Which areas can I treat? 

Pretty much any area can be treated, as long as the is dark and thick enough. Lasers pick up on the pigment in the hair follicle, if it’s blond or too fine it is not suitable. Some of the most popular areas are legs, bikini & underarms for women and back, shoulders, chest & abs for men. 

Are all skin types suitable for laser hair removal? 

Yes. We have 2 different lasers which can cater to all skin types, darker skin is more sensitive to the laser and therefore requires the Nd:YAG laser. 

Does it hurt? 

Not really. Some say it’s like a hot pricking sensation. Others compare it to a slight flicking of an elastic band. It’s not painless, however, if you’ve ever had a wax (which most of us have) it is extremely bearable by comparison. 

How many sessions until I start to see results? 

After 1 session your hair growth will slow significantly. You will already notice the hair thinning out and becoming less coarse after 2-3 sessions. After 5-6 sessions expect a significant reduction with no growth for up to 6 weeks. After 8 sessions you should be seeing an 80-90% reduction. 

Will I need top-up sessions or does it last forever? 

Laser hair removal achieves permanent reduction. Yes, you may need to top up sessions in the future. As your hormones change your body can produce new hair growth, however that’s easily handled with a top-up session every now and then.
